Some stuff about me
Hi, My name is Amanda though you can call me Manda or Cat.
I love to draw it is my passion. I started drawing when I was like 5 years old, and started working on the computer when I was 17 or 18.

I'm a really big fan of Pokemon. (Like you couldn't already tell that just by looking at my gallery.) I have a very in depth Pokemon story in the works. (Hopefully I'll start writing or drawing it here soon.)

I draw for the fun of it. I draw what ever makes me happy, it is my stress relief. (most of the time) so I have a tendency for drawing random things.

I rarely draw fanart of official characters, I don't really know why, but I just don't like to.

I love animals, before I got into art, I wanted to be either a vet, or a zoologist. Now I want to use my art to support me in some way.

I'd love to write and draw a comic, but sadly I struggle with confidence when it comes to that.

Anyways there's at least a little about me up here now. I might add more later.^^

What childrens moives for the 80's and 90's were like, and how childrens books are like now?

Sorry, random I know, but suriously. I just finished watching a very charming and whimsical movie called "Thander and the House of Magic" this was actually the second time I've watched it.
When it went off I decided to go out on IMDB and look up the cast, as I was curious about so of the vocie actors and if they had played in anythings else I might have seen. And I ended up stumbling on the reviews. Usually I don't really care about other peoples opinions on things like movies, games and books. I make my own decitions based on what I like.
But I do sometimes enjoy reading peoples reaction to things. So of the reviews were good, and had some valid points, and some of the points were not so valid. Like the fact that the animation wasn't on the same level as Pixar or Dreamwarks. And no it isn't quite, more like Sony, or Blue Skies, but they did get the movement and characteristics of a cat down to a T! Which I have not seen the big name stodies manage yet.
And the level of detail in the back grounds were great.

But the people that were freaking out in the reviews over the scary/sad senses were the most ridiculous.
The movie starts with a young cat being dumped on the streat by his owners who can no longer take care of him do to the fact that they are having to move.
Sad beginning I know, but what about the begnining of Oliver and Compony, he was abandon too, left in a box alone on the streats of New York City, who ever put him there didn't make sure he was taken care of, given a good home, they just left him. And we watch as a bunch of people abandon the kitten in the box repeatedly until the box breaks and Oliver is washed away.

So we actually see Thunder being abandoned by him owners, but just his owners. The who scene where he nearly gets hit by a car right after gitting dumpped isn't really all that scary, the dog chasing him is actually more intense, but niether are as intense as the Hyenas chasing Simba in the Lion King.

And later on in the movie the bad guy is trying to shot Thunder with a shotgun. Yes it is a intense scene, but it is not something to go freaking out about in my opinion. I maen how many Disney movies alone show the villain aiming a gun, or some other deadly weapon at the hero?
The Rescuers.
The Rescures Down Under
The Fox and the Hound.
Beauty and the Beast.
Oliver and Compony.
Alice in Wonderland.
Peter Pan.
Sleeping Beauty.
The Aristocats.
101 Dalmatians.
Lady and the Tramp.

Just to name a few. I could also list non Disney movies.

Like All Dogs go to Heaven.
The Secret of NINH.

And then there are the books of today that are ment for children around the same age group as The House of Magic. Like Runt, the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, The Tales of Despereaux, Tiger Rising, and lets not forget all the classic literature that most of Disney's movies are based on.

Compared to all of those the House of Magic is fairly tame. And not something people should be freaking out about as not being suitable for their children.
You should always look into a movie, book, TV Show or game before you let your kid have anything to do with it. And you have to decided if your kid can handle the darker stuff in a story.
My parents did that for me when I was little. And if I was disturbed by something they would talk with me about it.
And most children's movies today are far less disturbing then the stuff I grow up with.
Anyways I am done with my random out of the blue rant.

I do not have a re-trace, so will just have to make do with what we got.

well, the cross would have horns as a charizard cross... or we can retry it next week and see if we can't get Necro's dragon fusion into the mix...
Cattensu Featured By Owner Nov 3, 2015  Student General Artist
True it would. Are you alright with me taking the cross? Though I'm fine with trying again next week if that would be better.

So, here's what we got in terms of the clutch results:
Clutch Size : 6
Species Numbers : 1 Charmander 3 Cross 2 Gible
Males : 5
Females : 1
Shiny : 1
Morphs : 0
Fusions : 0

Not bad, even though there's only 1 shiny to go along with the crosses. How do you want to split this one up?
Cattensu Featured By Owner Oct 17, 2015  Student General Artist
I'm fine with takeing just one of the crosses, as a male, and you can have the rest. If you are OK with that.
