Personality:
Fenrir is independent, and level headed, (he has had to be) but he is also very shy, and quiet. Preferring to take the backseat in everything so as not to draw attention to himself for fear it will somehow anger his father. 
He has a very strong thirst for learning, and will happily set and read for hours on end if he gets the chance.
He is very good at taking things apart, and putting them back together, thanks to his father. It was really the only good thing that Falchion taught the boy.
Due to his past Fenrir has self worth issues, and often feels unworthy of one thing or another. Most often of Abby's unfailing friendship. It is something he knows he needs to work on.


History:
Fenrir was born in a battered bedraggled half tent half broken down house in the slums of Velkerth, were he continued to live with his father until he was 14 years old.

His mother left when he was barely a year old. Fenrir never blame her for wanting to get away from his father, but he often wished that she had taken him with her when she left. 
He believed he knew why she had left him behind. She wasn't Falchion's blood, unlike Fenrir, Falchion wasn't likely to waste his time looking for her, unlike Fenrir. So to truly get away, she had to leave her son behind. 
Fenrir hoped that she was happy wherever she was, and that she missed him just a little bit.

From the moment Fenrir was big enough to run around his father put him to work scrounging around for sellable items. If Fenrir failed to bring anything good back his father would hit him, and would not allow Fenrir to have anything to eat for the next two days.

Falchion often hit Fenrir even when he did bring something good to sale home. Falchion was a drunk, and a mean one at that, he believed that a hitting a day would keep the boy in line. 

Fenrir tried to run a way a couple of times before he was even 7 years old, but Falchion always found him, and always beat him with in an inch of his life when he did. So Fenrir gave up on running away, he would wait until he was a grown up, then he would leave, and his father wouldn't be able to stop him from doing so.
 
Fenrir never stayed at home for any length of time after he reached about 7 years in age. He found it safer to wander about the City, and check in with his father ever five hours or so to keep the old man from getting angry, or suspicious. 

Most of the time Fenrir stayed near the school, Falchion never bothered to look at the school when ever he got a wild hair and went out looking for his thoughtless child. Because what kid in their right mind would go to school if they had no reason to. 
So it was the perfect hiding place.

Fenrir did have reasons to go to the school, he long to have lessens, he wanted to learn everything he could, and he wanted to be like a normal kid, and be able to play.
Most of the kids at the school didn't take notice of Fenrir, nor did the teachers, but one small 5 year old noticed him as he sat on the broken marry-go-round at the edge of the schoolyard. She gave him half of her sandwich, and from then on whenever she saw him, she would give him half of her lunch. 

It took Fenrir about two months to realize that the little girl, Abby was just being nice, and didn't want anything from him. He was not at all use to seeing acts of kindness, it was very foreign to him. The cloest thing to kindness that he ever saw was his father decideding that he wasn't worth hitting for once.

Abby's kindness eventually got Fenrir to let down his gaurd, and to open up to her.
He found it very nice to actually talk to some one, and them care about what he was saying.
The moment Abby learned that he wanted to learn the things taught at the school she took it on herself to teach him the lessens after school. 

Fenrir made Abby promise not to tell anybody about him. He was afraid that something might happen to her if she did. That somehow his father would find out about them, and would hurt her to punish him for disobeying his father by learning stuff out of books when he was supposed to be gathering scrap.
Whenever Fenrir would show up for his lessens with a new cut or bruise or burn, Abby would almost beg him let her tell her parents, telling him that they could help, but he would always tell her no, that he was fine. That it wasn't as bad as it looked.

For seven years they met at the school. Abby started letting Fenrir have all her lunch as she was able to get pleanting more at home, unlike him. And if she was on brake then she would pack him food before she headed out.
She also used her allowance to buy things he needed, like clothes, and first aid supplies. 
She has a garden in the Oasis that is her's to grow whatever she wants too. She grew vegetables, and herbs that Fenrir could eat, or use as a supplement for first aid when she was out of town.
Fenrir could not argue with her, could never make her see that she was doing far to much for way to little, though he did try, but Abby wouldn't hear of it. She can be quite stubborn when she choices to be. So he just learned to shut up, and be grateful for her kindness.

Things changed when Fenrir was 14 and Abby was 12.
Fenrir didn't showed up at the school for his lessens. Abby went looking for him after school let out, and found him in an ally behind the school building. Barely conscious, bleeding everywhere, the right side of his face in ruins. Abby broke her promise not to tell anyone about him in order to save him, she when for her dad.

The fact that Fenrir was still a live after the beating he took astounded everyone at the hospital that Charmin and Abby took him too.
He had five broken ribs, two fractured besides that. Thired degree burns on the grater part of his back and upper parts of his arms. His right eye was gone, as was his right ear. There was hardly any part of the right side of his face that wasn't damaged in some way. Even his jaw was fractured on the right side. 
They had to put him into an induced coma so that he could heal without stress.

It was a new world for him when Fenrir woke up. He no longer had really any real depth perception with having only one eye. He had to learn to adjust to that. He stumbled over things a lot until he did.
But the biggest change was that his father was no longer around to hurt him. Abby had told the police everything she knew about Fenrir and his abusive father, and it was enough to get him brought in for questioning, but when he attacked the polices officers, and tried to make a run for it that got him arrested. He was locked up for a number of criminal accounts, including child abuse.

Fenrir never talks about the day his father nearly killed him, the memory, and the pain that when with it are to much for him to handle. 
All he would ever say was that it was the day Abby truly saved his life.
He wasn't angry with her for breaking her promise, he was grateful that she did, and told her so.

Fenrir was overwhelmed by the fact that he be came a kind of celebrity over night, and every one in the City seemed to want to take him in after he was free from his father. But he wasn't sure he wanted to be taken in by anyone. He was so use to taking care of himself by then, and he wasn't sure if he was ready to try to trusted someone not to be the same way his father was.

He did eventually agree to go with Lucius and Uria Drakes, as Abby spoke so highly of them, but he spent more time at Charmin and Ivy's then at Lucius and Uria's, which they were all fine with. They respected the fact that he was not accustomed to setting still, and it would likely take time before he got to the point were he would feel safe while not moving.



How he relates to others:

Abby Cummod:
Abby is Fenrir's best friend, and he actually views her as a Godsend in his life, without her he would have been dead a long time before he was 14.
Fenrir feels completely safe when Abby is around, the two of them can spend hours together comfortably without ever having to talk.   
He is very protective of Abby.

Charmin Cummod:
Charmin is the father that Fenrir wished he had had. Fenrir hero worships Charmin a bit. He desires to gain Charmin's approval in almost everything. 
He has trouble believing when Charmin tells him he needn't do anything to win his approval. 

Ivy Cummod:
Fenrir original felt in awe of Ivy and her magic, which made him very shy around her. Now though he is still in awe of her abilities, he is no longer shy around her, and talks to her almost as much as he talks to Abby.

Justin Cummod: 
Both Fenrir and Justin are rather quiet creatures, but they are often quite noisy when they are playing together. 
Despite his issues, Fenrir is very good with kids, and 4 year old Justin adores him.

Loreant Evlest:
Lore Scares Fenrir to no end. And Fenrir knows for a fact that Lore thinks he is not worthy of Abby, in any way, as Lore told him so. 
Fenrir stays away for the Cummod household when ever Lore is there.

Aggathia Ribson:
Despite her connection and apparent attachment to Lore, Fenrir gets along very well with Thia. They understand each other on a level that none of the others can, both having fathers that would beat them if they did the littles thing to irritate them.
Fenrir was the one that got Thia to open up, after Lore brought her to Ivy.

Falchion Greaves: 
Fenrir has nothing but feelings of fear and hate for his father.

Lucius and Uria Drakes:
Fenrir has nothing but respect for the couple that took him in, but he doesn't really know how to live in their high class world. Their house alone makes him feel very small, and shabby. 
And their lifestyle has a of tossing him into the spotlight, which is not were he ever wants to be.
Luckily they understand his discomfort, and are fine with him going to the Cummod's home and staying there most of the time.

Cate Mayhem:
Fenrir wasn't really sure what to make of Abby's aunt when she came to visit the first time after he started spending so much time with Abby's family. But the two of them actually get along great.
